Thousands of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa State on Sunday endorsed Mustapha Sule Lamido as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 general election, following a large-scale primary exercise held in the state capital, Dutse.
The event, which took place at the M-Town Centre in Dutse, drew party delegates and supporters from across the 287 wards in the state, creating a strong show of political mobilization ahead of the next electoral cycle.
